    • This antique Victorian gold and diamond ring dates from the end of 19th century, circa 1895.

The head of the ring features two rows of small rose cut diamonds, set in a silver mount. The triangular facets of the rose cuts allowed them to glisten more beautifully in candlelight. The 12 diamonds are horizontally aligned, and mounted in open-back settings.

The head of the ring boasts an open gallery with crescent motif detailing and two sizing beads have been added to the inside of the band.

UK size K, US size 5.25

The ring is unmarked but tests as 22K gold. It weighs a total of 3.16 grams.

The rectangular silver head measures 18mm x 6mm, and the diamonds measure approx 1mm across.
