London-based Ravensbury Antiques was founded by Callum in 2019 and since then, thousands of pieces of completely unique antique jewellery have found new homes all over the world.
His passion for antiques began from an early age, when he started to fill a cabinet of curiosities with small and inexpensive antique trinkets, rocks and some gemstones. His love for collecting objects of beauty continued to grow and eventually led him to the historic Birmingham jewellery quarter while studying at the University of Birmingham.
During this time, Callum decided to turn his passion into a business. He made a name for himself as a dealer of vintage jewellery on e-commerce platform Depop, where his brand ‘The Silver Store’ quickly became one of the top sellers of vintage jewellery on the platform worldwide.
Fascinated by the stories and history behind antique jewellery, he delved deeper and channelled his focus on sourcing older and rarer pieces. Callum now frequently travels across Europe in search of the most coveted antique gems - each piece carefully chosen for its beauty, craftsmanship and historical significance. He is a member of various renowned trade organisations and societies including the National Association of Jewellers and the Society of Jewellery Historians.
Today, Ravensbury Antiques is a thriving small business, offering an exquisite selection of jewellery to collectors and enthusiasts around the world from their London HQ.
