A stunning gold bracelet from the first half of the 19th century. The central panel is set with a rich red garnet cabochon, bordered by creamy natural pearls, and framed with intricate repoussé-work featuring floral and scrolled motifs, typical of Regency era jewellery design.The bracelet's band is composed of high-karat gold links arranged in an unusual fishtail pattern, a rare and visually striking construction that adds texture and movement to the piece.Unmarked but tested as 18K gold, the bracelet weighs a substantial 11.89 grams and measures 15.5 cm in length. The garnet measures approximately 7 mm across its longest axis, flanked by 3 mm pearls. A secure box clasp and safety chain complete the piece.Despite its age, the bracelet remains in excellent condition, with all gemstones securely set and the clasp fastening securely.A highly wearable and beautifully preserved example of 19th century craftsmanship.
