A beautiful late 19th-century French glass locket pendant, dating to around 1880. Crafted in Paris from 18K gold, it bears a faint French eagle’s head hallmark confirming its gold fineness.The frame opens via a swivel top, allowing easy access to place a flower, a lock of hair, a small photo, or even a handwritten note between the original panes of antique glass.The rim is plain and minimal, drawing attention to the contents rather than the frame.It measures 3cm in diameter and weighs 4 grams. Despite its age, it remains in good antique condition with light signs of wear.A lovely sentimental piece of wearable history.
