Vintage Gold Shark Tooth Pendant

A cool vintage gold shark tooth pendant, made in Germany and crafted in 18K gold.

The shark tooth is capped in solid 18K gold to be worn as a pendant.

Historically, jewellery set with exotic animal teeth was more than just a status symbol - it was thought that when worn as a charm, the teeth imparted the animal’s strength, speed and cunning to the wearer.

The pendant measures 3cm by 2cm (excluding the bail). It weighs 4.15 grams. The pendant is stamped with a 750 (18K gold) mark along with a German maker’s mark. It remains in fantastic condition.
