This ornate French natural seed pearl ring dates to the late 19th century, circa 1895, and is crafted in 18K yellow gold. The smooth D-shaped adjoins to an openwork bezel with pronged fleur-de-lys motifs holding the central pearl in place.
UK size N, US size 6.75
2.74g 18K gold, bezel measures 7mm across, the pearl protrudes 7mm from the finger, peal measures 3.5mm across.
Outer band carries old French hallmarks for Paris and 18K gold whilst the inner band has a more recent laser engraving of the year ‘2005’, possibly a memorable date and/or when the ring was passed down to a younger generation to look after.
