The ring features a central compartment that opens like a miniature book, offering a space for keepsakes or tiny photographs—a delightful combination of sentimentality and artistry.The shoulders are adorned with intricate open scrollwork accented by black enamel detailing. The scrollwork's flowing design beautifully complements the locket's delicate central box, which measures approximately 7mm x 7mm, while the band tapers to 1.5mm at the back for a comfortable fit.This ring was acquired in Portugal. Though unmarked, the gold tests as 18K gold.Weighing 3.4 grams, this ring is light yet substantial enough for everyday wear. It is a UK size S½ (US size 9.25).Condition: Good antique condition with minor enamel losses that do not detract from its overall charm.
