A small late Victorian green tourmaline signet ring, made in Germany around 1900 and crafted in 14K gold. The ring is centred by an oval green tourmaline set into the head in a smooth bezel setting.The shoulders are engraved with delicate floral ornamen running out from the bezel.The ring is marked 585 for 14K gold and also carries a German maker’s mark in the form of a shield.It is a UK size N½ / US 6.75. Condition is good, with light surface wear to the gold consistent with age and use.A charming German late Victorian green tourmaline signet ring, c.1900; modest in size but full of period detail, with engraved floral shoulders and a pleasing soft green centre stone.
