A rare antique French serpent ring, crafted in solid 18K gold and dating from around 1900. This unusual design features two sculptural snake heads that twist and curve into one another, forming a seamless, double-headed motif.Snake rings have symbolised eternal love, protection, and rebirth for centuries—motifs particularly beloved during the Victorian and Belle Époque periods. This French example is stamped with the owl control mark, confirming its 18K gold purity.The ring measures 7mm at the widest point (front) and tapers to 3mm at the back.
