This charming ring was made in the Netherlands and dates to the late 19th century. The central rose cut diamond is foiled and set in a cut down rub over setting made from silver with further floral cluster style decorations bordering the stone. The shank is handcrafted in 14K gold and features vertical engravings with split shoulder. The ring is in good condition with the diamond set very securely, however as you can see from the surface related wear, this particular ring has been well loved and well worn, and it is exactly this wear which makes this ring so alluring!
UK size O, US size 7.25, 2.48g gold
The band is stamped with a Dutch ‘oak leaf’ hallmark to indicate 14K gold. The diamond measures 3mm in diameter, circular bezel measures 8mm and the band measures 3mm across.
