An elegant Victorian opal, ruby and diamond band ring, dating to around 1900. The ring is crafted in 18K gold and set across the front with three oval opals, each showing lively flashes of green, blue and pink. The opals are arranged in a neat horizontal row, with small ruby accents and rose-cut diamonds.The ring is marked with a French owl import hallmark for 18K gold, indicating it was brought into or retailed in France. It is also stamped H&W and 750. The ring weighs 3.04g and is a UK size P / US 7.75. The front measures approximately 6mm wide, with each opal measuring around 3 × 5mm.Condition is excellent, with the opals, rubies and diamonds all secure. The gold shows light surface wear consistent with age, but the ring remains very clean, wearable and well preserved.
