A charming Victorian signet ring, set with a deep green bloodstone flecked with vivid red, crafted in rich 15K gold.

Made in Birmingham in 1899, the ring features a rectangular bloodstone panel measuring 9mm x 11mm, bezel-set into a solid gold mount with deeply flared shoulders. The clean architectural lines and weighty presence reflect the late 19th-century preference for masculine yet refined jewellery.

Bloodstone—also known as heliotrope—was traditionally associated with courage and healing, and its use in signet rings like this one dates back centuries, favoured for both its beauty and symbolic strength.

It is a UK size T½ (US size 9.75) and weighs 4.5 grams. The back of the band measures 3.5mm wide.

In good antique condition with minimal signs of wear. The bloodstone remains securely set and uncarved, offering the option for future personalisation.
