Antique Austrian Art Deco .800 Silver Signet Ring
Made in Vienna circa 1930, this is a superb example of Art Deco jewellery. The heavy geometrical silver frame is complete with various steps and grooves in pleasant symmetry. The bezel is of a medium-profile and protrudes approximately 7.5mm from the top of the finger.
The arched open work shoulders extend outwards to create the illusion of a wide, flat bezel. A banded white agate gemstone with bevelled edges is set in the centre and features parallel bands of brown, black and blue hues, it measures 14.5mm x 13.3mm.
UK size S, 9.2g silver (heavy!)
Austrian ‘tucan’ head hallmark with letter ‘W’ indicates .800 silver made in Vienna between 1922 and 1939.
