The shoulders are modelled with the unmistakable imagery of Tutankhamun’s innermost sarcophagus coffin - a motif that captured worldwide attention after Howard Carter’s discovery in 1922.The rectangular lapis lazuli (8 × 5 mm) is carved in low relief and set within a smooth gold bezel. The shoulders display stylised portrait details of the pharaoh’s gold coffin, now softly rubbed from wear, yet still recognisable. The band tapers to the reverse and is engraved with geometric detailing.Hallmarks: Egyptian assay marks for 18 karat gold, including the Cairo “Larus” hallmark, the Arabic fineness mark, and the date letter for 1947.
