A rare and beautifully unusual Austro-Hungarian pendant, crafted in solid 14K yellow gold and dating from the early 1920s. Made in Vienna between 1922 and 1925, this openwork design centres on a stylised spider, its body set with a vivid pink spinel and a smaller white spinel above.The goldwork is finely textured to resemble bark and branches, enhancing the three-dimensional depth of the piece.
