This elegant antique solitaire ring was crafted in Vienna during the Austro-Hungarian Empire, circa 1900. Set with an exceptional old mine-cut diamond (approx. 1ct), the stone boasts outstanding clarity, a large culet and a bright white hue.

The ring is crafted from 14K gold, confirmed by the Austrian ‘fox head’ hallmark, and features the city mark for Vienna alongside the maker’s mark ‘E.A.’ Its silky smooth texture and substantial weight of 8.5 grams make it remarkably comfortable to wear, while its minimalist, stirrup-shaped design reflects the refined craftsmanship of the period.

The band measures 7mm in width at the front, tapering gracefully to 5.5mm at the back. A UK size P½ (US size 8), the ring remains in superb condition, perfect for everyday wear or as a meaningful antique engagement ring.
