    • An elegant late Victorian emerald and diamond cluster ring dating to circa 1890, retailed by Raymond, Joaillier-Orfèvre, Rue Neuve 6, Brussels, and accompanied by its original fitted presentation box.

The ring is centred with a emerald-cut 0.75ct Colombian emerald measuring, displaying a rich green colour and particularly good clarity for an emerald of the period. Surrounding the emerald is a halo of bright old mine cut diamonds, their hand-cut facets providing the soft sparkle characteristic of late 19th century jewellery.

Crafted in 18K gold, the ring features open-backed settings throughout, allowing light to pass through the stones while making the ring practical to clean and comfortable for everyday wear. The cluster head measures approximately 10mm in diameter, giving excellent presence without appearing oversized.

The ring bears French an owl import mark for 18K gold, indicating it was later imported into or retailed through France. The original Raymond of Brussels box adds an appealing layer of provenance.

Size: N½ (UK) / 7 (US)
      Weight: 3.23g
      Emerald: Approx. 0.75ct

Condition is excellent overall, with bright diamonds, a well-preserved emerald, and minimal wear consistent with age. A particularly wearable antique emerald ring that would make an exceptional engagement ring.
