A French Art Deco diamond necklace of the 1930s: three diamonds in a graduated drop, about 1.8 carats in all, in 18K white gold.The drop is articulated so it moves with the wearer. At the base sits a bright 1 carat cushion cut diamond; above it, two old European cut diamonds of 0.4ct each. The stones have very good clarity and the large open culets of older cuts (the small flat facet at the base).The clean, geometric line is classic Art Deco.
