A Dutch rose cut diamond pendant of about 1900 by the Arnhem jeweller W.A. Holthuis, still in its original box.The delicate leafy pendant is set with rose cut diamonds in closed-back, foiled silver settings, a traditional way of making them sparkle by candlelight. The central diamond is 6mm across and spreads to approximately 0.5ct. The front is silver and the back 14K yellow gold, typical of continental jewellery of the period.It hangs from a fine .800 silver chain with a small, practical adjuster, so it can be worn anywhere from 32cm to 42cm. It comes in its original orange velvet box from W.A.
