    • This beautiful piece was made in France and dates to the 19th century. The ring is set with a fantastic fiery rose cut diamond in an octagonal silver setting. The foil-backed diamond rests in a closed rubover setting which adjoins to the ring via a series of prongs. The 18K yellow gold band exhibits a cool and unusual openwork design with a row of circles going all the way around.

      The ring weighs 3.84 grams. The band is stamped with a French eagle head control marks to indicate 18K gold made in Paris. The ring head protrudes 6mm, the band measures 5mm across. The rose cut diamond weighs approx 0.85ct. The octagonal silver diamond setting measures 7mm x 6mm.
