    • A French antique 18K gold medal pendant depicting Napoleon Bonaparte in profile, made in Paris around 1900 and signed by the medallist Ernest-Auguste Révillon (1854–1937). The portrait is rendered in strong low relief, showing Napoleon in bicorne hat and military dress, with Révillon’s signature placed vertically at the lower right edge. The reverse is plain and smooth, allowing the medal to sit cleanly when worn.

Révillon was a French Academic sculptor and medallist active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, producing medallic work shaped by the period’s strong taste for national history, religious subjects and commemorative portraiture. Here, Napoleon is treated not as a simple souvenir figure but as a formal historical portrait; the modelling of the face, hat and uniform has the controlled, sculptural quality associated with French medal work of the Belle Époque.

The pendant is crafted in 18K gold and bears the French eagle-head mark for 18K fineness. It measures approximately 2cm in diameter and weighs 3.2g. The original-style suspension loop allows it to be worn from a fine chain or added to an antique charm or medal collection. Condition is good, with light surface wear consistent with age.
