Each openwork link is crafted in 18K gold, signed “Miault” and marked with the French eagle-head hallmark, and features beautifully chiselled leaf motifs that echo the organic, flowing style of the Paris Salons.The links appear to depict stylised ginkgo or parsley leaves, a form frequently embraced during the Art Nouveau period for their elegance and symbolism; longevity, resilience and the poetic transformation of nature.
