This stylish vintage Albert chain, crafted entirely in solid 9K gold, features a practical design inspired by 19th-century jewellery. Though it draws on the classic Victorian aesthetic, this example is likely a later piece, with all components, including the dog clips and T-bar, testing as 9K gold.

Originally inspired by the pocket watch chains worn by gentlemen in the 1800s, Albert chains have since been reimagined as elegant statement necklaces. The gold has a warm, rosy hue and a pleasing weight, making it suitable for both everyday wear and layering.

The design alternates between rope-twist trombone links and elongated paperclip-style links, giving the piece a dynamic visual rhythm. The T-bar, measuring 3.5 cm across, hangs from a short drop and contributes to the chain’s traditional feel. Each link measures approx 2cm x 0.3cm.
