A Victorian 15K gold hinged bangle of about 1870, set with two rows of closely set, lustrous seed pearls.Seed pearls are tiny pearls; here they sit shoulder to shoulder to make a soft, glowing line across the top of the bangle. The narrow band, just 5mm wide, is handmade and closes with a box clasp, with a safety chain for added security.It opens wide to slip on easily and sits neatly on the wrist.A refined and easy everyday piece of Victorian craftsmanship.Details: c.1870; unmarked, tests as 15K gold; seed pearls; internal diameter 5.8cm x 4.4cm, opening to 8cm; 0.5cm wide, 0.2cm deep; 10.49g.Condition: Please ask for a detailed condition report.
