At its centre is a beautifully proportioned emerald-cut diamond, mounted in a platinum mill-grain beaded bezel; a hallmark feature of high-quality Edwardian era jewellery.The diamond displays superb clarity and brightness, with excellent fire and a clean, white appearance. The open-backed setting allows light to pass freely through the stone, maximising brilliance while also permitting easy cleaning. The shoulders are gently pinched and taper into a slender gold band, a characteristic Edwardian design that lends the ring an airy, architectural presence.The ring weighs 1.9 grams and is sized UK N, US 6.75. The diamond weighs approx. 0.35cts and measures approximately 5 x 4 x 2 mm. Although unmarked, the ring has been tested and confirmed as 18K gold with platinum to the setting.
