A remarkable Georgian period cluster ring, crafted in England around 1820.

 At its heart is a rare and striking 1ct cushion-cut natural ruby with a deep red "pigeon’s blood" hue, likely of Burmese origin. The ruby is prong-set within a 'target'-style arrangement, encircled by a halo of old-cut diamonds in crimped collet silver settings, further framed by a second halo of smaller cushion-cut rubies. 

The intricate repoussé-work shoulders are adorned with delicate roses and floral motifs, a hallmark of Georgian craftsmanship, and taper gracefully into the gold shank.

The ring, testing as 21K gold, weighs a substantial 6.37 grams and features a bezel that measures 26mm x 14mm.

Despite being over 200 years old, this ring remains in exceptional condition. The stones are all securely set, and the overall structure of the ring is robust. This piece is a true testament to the enduring craftsmanship of the Georgian era and would make a stunning addition to any fine jewellery collection.
