This three-stone gypsy ring is set with a sapphire, an old cut diamond, and a ruby - horizontally aligned in a French flag formation. Each of the gemstones are of very high quality, with excellent clarity, strong colours and minimal inclusions. They are all bezel set in an open-backed gold mount, crafted in solid 14K gold.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUK ring size M 1\/2, US size 6.5\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe ring weighs a good 7.9 grams. It carries an Austro-Hungarian Empire ‘fox head’ hallmark, indicating that the ring was made between 1872 and 1922. It also indicates a fineness of 14K gold \/585 gold as well as the city of Vienna. There is also a maker’s mark present (JW).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eDespite being over 110 years old, the ring remains in excellent condition and has a beautifully silky feel on the finger from years of wear! All of the stones are securely set with no surface scratches or chips whatsoever, a real rarity for a ring of this age! Each gemstone weighs approximately 0.3cts. The gemstone all appear to be natural, and the sapphire shows no signs of heat treatment.
